02 Dec 11 Why A Wireless Automation System

The great thing about the modern day home automation systems is that they have become so affordable and competitively priced that just about anyone can buy one and have it installed in their home. For companies like Vivint this obviously means an increase in business as more and more people flock to have these system installed in their homes and it also has the result of so many more home owners now benefiting from the great advantages that these systems have.

But with the wide choices that are now on the market in terms of home automation why should you opt for one that is wireless as opposed to the old, wired systems? Other than the fact that they are newer there are several other reasons why you should choose a wireless system. The first reason is obviously that they are far easier to install and set up. If you have a big house and you are installing several different elements to your system – perhaps door locks, motion sensors and maybe some CCTV in the garden – then if this is all to be connected to the control panel via wires it will undoubtedly cause some upheavel and hassle with walls being ripped out and wires being tied to skirting boards etc…

However by having a system that is operated and communicated with completed wirelessly you can forgo all of this nonsense and instead have a relatively easy and clean installation. Furthermore, have a look at some Vivint reviews to see that this actually adds to your whole security application because a burglar can no longer just cut a wire to disable the whole system or CCTV aspect and instead it will continue running and be just as effective all the time without the need to check if a cable if loose now and again.
